Below lists several of our accomplishments which separate us from any other company that sells functional artificial fingers. For example, it is certainly exciting when any invention is granted a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). But very few inventions receive admiration from the Director of the USPTO. Jon Dudas, the Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, called the X-Finger a true modern marvel. Additionally the X-Finger has been showcased in the United States Patent and Trademark Museum as well as the National Inventors Hall of Fame; a claim very few inventions in any field can make. Jon Dudas is also the Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property.
Didrick Medical Inc. also won 1st place in a global competition called the Perfect Pitch, judged by Billionaire Sir Richard Branson of Virgin among several other leaders in global business. Sir Richard Branson awarded Didrick Medical and its founders the first place award for giving the “perfect business pitch” out of thousands of submissions from around the world. As one of three finalists in the competition Dan Didrick and his team were flown to Los Angeles to give their pitch, live, in front of hundreds of successful businessmen and investors. Didrick Medical Inc. also won a $250,000 grant to further expansion which was sponsored by Chase Bank and Living Social; chosen from more than 70,000 competing businesses across America. The X-Finger was also a finalist in two of the world’s leading design competitions; one of which was the Index Awards, sponsored by the Crown Prince of Denmark. The Index Awards competition is a global design contest centered on designing to improve life. Didrick Medical was also a finalist in the world famous Well Tech Awards, where the X-Finger was showcased in the Isimbardi Palace in the Province of Milan. The X-Finger was also a “final four” finalist in the Cade Museum Prize for Innovation, and won Collier’s Entrepreneurship Award. The X-Finger has been showcased in dozens of the world’s leading technology museums and exhibit halls, including the California Science Center in Los Angeles, the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, the Museum of Science in Boston, the Vanderbilt Hall and the X-Finger was on display at Grand Central Terminal in New York City.
