How long do X-Fingers last?
As with many products, the care taken to ensure longevity will play a large role in determining our products life-span. Nevertheless we have many customers who have worn our devices with years of worry free use. Our devices have pads to protect the residual finger and plastic components that hold the shape of the finger that can be quickly and inexpensively replaced. We offer a full one year warranty on all of the parts of the X-Finger enabling you or your patient to use the device without fear of breaking any of the components.
How much do X-Fingers cost?
We are the manufacturer of the X-Finger and sell it at a wholesale price to any licensed practitioner who is able to fit prosthetic devices. Because prosthetic facilities require different amounts of money to run facilities in different parts of the world, we cannot offer an estimated retail price. We will offer you information on whether we can produce a device and whether or not you are a good candidate. How long will it take to be fit with a device?
Depending on whether we can create a device using commonly used parts or if a custom device needs to be created will determine the time frame. But we can typically get a device out within a week from receiving a deposit.
